There are some seasons that mark you.
Not just in the emotional sense — though there was plenty of that — but in the deep, cellular way. The kind that changes how you show up, how you create, and why you do what you do.
For me, that season began in August of 2023, when my mother-in-law passed away. It was the beginning of a wave of loss I didn’t see coming.
In February, we lost my father-in-law. Ten days later, my own father passed. And just as I was beginning to steady myself again, my dog Willow — my sweet companion and hiking partner — left this world too.

What Grief and Brand Alignment Have to Do With Each Other
Grief doesn’t operate on a timeline. It’s nonlinear, unpredictable, and strangely clarifying.
Because amidst the pain and the quiet, something became undeniably clear:
I didn’t want to keep doing business the way I had before.
I wanted to create more intentionally. To simplify. To shape a brand that reflected this new version of me — the one who’d been cracked open, who’d sat with the discomfort, who’d come out the other side a little softer, a little clearer.

A Moment of Closure in the Desert
And then May arrived.
I had the immense honor of officiating my niece’s wedding in Moab. We stood at the crest of a trail, surrounded by red rock and desert silence, and I spoke words about love, commitment, and the resilience of the human spirit.
I don’t think they knew what that moment meant to me.
It was the first time I felt a true sense of closure. A line drawn gently in the sand between one chapter and the next.
It reminded me of why I started this work in the first place:

It reminded me of why I started this work in the first place:
To help people who are helping people. To guide them into brands that feel like home.To build things that matter — with heart, with strategy, with intention.
So if my work feels a little different lately… it’s because I am.
My new offerings are more aligned. My process is more spacious.

My brand? It finally feels like me.
If you’re navigating your own season of change, or craving a brand that actually reflects your evolution — I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Because I believe the best brands aren’t built from hustle. They’re built from truth.
